Mark Giesting, ChFC®
Owner and Principal Financial Advisor
Mark decided early that he wanted to get the most out of life, both personally and financially, embracing the experiences and personal connections that make life worthwhile. To achieve this goal, he sought the counsel of those who possessed the values he was eager to exemplify. Their direction was a continual source of reflection and growth, igniting a desire within Mark to help people with similar needs and goals, especially as it pertained to financial decision-making. In 2002, Mark took a leap of faith and transitioned from a corporate environment to founding his own financial advisory firm. Giesting Financial was established with the belief that planning for your financial future strengthens your overall wellbeing and leads to fulfillment in all areas of your life. Using his knack for listening and problem solving, Mark now helps clients create comprehensive plans that support sound judgement and compassionate stewardship.
Prior to launching his practice, Mark earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Ball State University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Thomas More College. His career began at Forethought Financial Services, and his tenure there involved various sales management and executive positions. Mark has completed his Series 6, 26, 63, 65 and life insurance licenses and is certified as a Chartered Financial Consultant® by The American College of Financial Services. Outside of work, Mark is busy raising four children with his wife and business partner, Denise. He is also an avid runner who has completed three marathons to date. Mark’s other hobbies include exploring the outdoors, coaching youth sports, and serving on the boards and committees of numerous local community organizations.
